Sun, Sand, and Simple Goodness!

Ahh. The Atlantis. It was wonderful. The big decision for three days. Beach vs. Pool. I loved it. There really isnt much to say as I really just spent the time relaxing and enjoying the sun.

Amy, Blair, and I - Day 3!

One night I actually left the Atlantis with Amy to go to the "Fish Fry." Its the local hang out for fish, etc. Its was an interesting experience. Bahamians are very nice people. This is walking over the bridge from Paradise Island to Nassau.

Boston, I miss you

I have been away from Boston for a week now. And I must say, I miss Boston. Probably because I know that its beautiful right now back there. . . . I am excited for a few days away from life at the Atlantis. . . .

Here are some shots from the week before I left for Texas.

Public Garden with the Blooming Trees. My new love in life is a Sprin with Flowering Trees.

The tulips at the Public Garden. I love the gardeners at the Garden are fantastic. Simple, but lovely. Always.

I left my office for a minute during lunch last week and walked passed this office building with this in the front planters. I loved it. It was hard to leave and go back to work.

Hanging out with Kristy before she departed the beloved city. Good luck K-Dawg in your new adventures. You will be missed.

Focus Problems

I have not been able to focus at work today. It might be because I was called snippy without true justification. Or it might be becuase of this:

or because of this

Or maybe its because of this one

I just confirmed my reservations at the Atlantis. In this day and age, "Travel Agents" dont always get a break. But I did get a good price for three nights at the Atlantis. Im stoked to stay here. I have been dreaming about it for the last ten years of my life. Maybe even longer.

I couldnt post any of the pictures from the site. These were just the ones that I found on the web. They have everything there. No reason to leave the resort. Only 19 days away!

Memory Lane

Last night I flew in from a week in Florida for work. I was picked up by my long time friend, Val, and then we headed over to Kristy and Jasmines going-away party. It was alittle surreal for me.

Kristy was my first friend in Boston. I was sitting by myself at a Easter Concert the second day in Boston. I was highly overwhelmed by all these new people, being in a new place, but I was excited for it all. I knew that Boston was where I was suppose to be. So, I was sitting in a pew all by myself watching the others fill up around me. Kristy had brought a friend and her husband to this concert, so it just happened that my pew had room. We got to talking and became fast friends. A few months later, I moved in with her and Diana in a lovely little three bed apartment in Brookline. Those were some good times. Then Kristy and I decided to move into the city. we couldnt convince Diana to join us as the current apartment was a great location for her work and there was a guaranteed parking spot. . . . Kristy and I live together for 2.5 years. She has been the roommate I have had the longest thus far, and Im happy to say that we are still friends!

I cant believe that I have been in Boston now for 4 years. Im not really sure why it was Boston that I was drawn too. I had no ties, and could have gone anywhere. All I can say is that Heavenly Father wanted me here. I have meet many wonderful people that are such examples to me, and made many friendships that I will always cherish. After reflecting on the past 4 years, I know that this is where I am to be. I know that I have a purpose in being here. Sometimes the darkness of the worldly, daily activities make that hard to see. But Heavenly Father has a great purpose for me. I just need to live worthily to see that.
