Weight has been Lifted

Im so excited! I finally gave my notice and can talk openly about this now.

Im quiting (possibly working part-time from home, still waiting to hear) my job, and moving to Hartford to live with my brother and his family. Im excited to have a chance to live with family and spend time with them. Where I end up long-term, is still undetermined. So, if anyone has any job openings, Im up for an adventure. . . .

Challenged

I was recently challenged to read the New Testament. I have to say it was alittle odd of an request, but one that Im excited for. What better way than to spend time really devouring and understanding the life of Christ. This is going to be good. My friend wanted me to start reading in John. And so here is a fabulous verse to share with you:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

When it Rains, it Pours. . .

Or in todays case, its a blizzard. . .

After getting to work in this kind of weather, then there is a whole other sorta of blizzard of work related items. . . . Ready for sunny skies and happy people.

That was a spontaneous trip to Walt Disney World with my Brother and his family.

I was able to see the Bushs new home in Dallas. Its nice. I find it ironic that its next to the owners of the Rangers. . . . Sorry, not the best picture. Blackberries dont really have great picture capablities.

Need Sun

This is year is about action for me. I have been saying for awhile that I want to go to the DR. And So, I just booked a 5 day 4 night trip for $100. Gotta love Event Planner perks. I had a free flight with Jet Blue and thousands of Hilton points. I have been trying to coordinate it for awhile between to hotel and air. And I finally figured it out. Im stooked. If anyone wants to join me, please feel free. I am going April 6-10. Any takers? Free hotel room, you just have to pay for the plane.

Updates People

. . . For those out there with blogs that dont update said blogs . . . Its time to get on it. Why must you tantalize us by having one, then never post on it? I like to hear what friends are doing all around the US. Im a lame phone talker and totally admit to it. But I still love to know what is going on in your life. Plus, if I were agood phone talker, I still dont think I could call and talk with everyone. There are just too many of you out there that I love to hear from. . . . So, this is my plea with all of you. Update your blog. . . . . Thanks!
